OFAA Injectable Training App

Welcome to the OFAA injectable training and continuous professional development app.

We have come a long way from didactic classroom lectures and traditional methods of paper based learning to online interactive platforms. More and more practitioners are looking to update their knowledge using online platforms, in their own time, without the expense and bother of attending conferences. Virtual learning is the next generation natural continuum of training, especially for “digital millennials and baby boomers” who are already using these kinds of technologies. Live training and cadaver simulation can now be used to train thousands of practitioners around the world and educate universities and societies en masse.

This app can be used with just a smartphone or works with VR too – which can transport a practitioner from Australia or South Africa to the same space as Dr. Sabrina Shah-Desai’s Harley Street clinic or Cadaver lab, without stepping out of their home/office. As an educator, Dr. Sabrina was aware that a one or two day training course, without access to scientifically relevant updates was failing in “upskilling” or “re-skilling” practitioners. In order to maintain continuous professional development, following their initial formal training, Dr. Sabrina created unique interactive visual learning content that allowed the medical practitioner to learn holistic facial assessment, advanced filler injection techniques, detailed cadaver anatomy and gain practical knowledge on how to use hyaluronidase to manage complications. In the event of a vascular emergency, skills can be refreshed within seconds, by accessing techniques on a handheld device, to support a practitioner in managing catastrophic emergencies all alone.

Ongoing CPD assessments allows learning to be conscious and proactive rather than passive and reactive. Aesthetic Practitioners will find this app extremely beneficial to enhance and maintain their skills and proficiency throughout their careers.
